RW Blears advises Onstage on "Europe's answer to Y Combinator" with new £10m fund

We are delighted to have supported longstanding client Onstage on last week's launch of their inaugural £10m fund, Onstage I LP.

Onstage has built a standout brand in recent years, hosting a series of regular demo days showcasing the best in emerging founder and GP talent.

The new fund, as partner Taos Edmondson announced, will "strengthen our proposition for globally ambitious founders across Europe, offering capital alongside the exposure we can generate through demo day. We plan to make 80 investments over the next 3-4 years into companies which we find through demo day or through our extensive VC network".

Investors at first closing included Peter Simon and (existing client) Sasha Kaletsky, GP at Creator Ventures.

The Blears team was led by Ollie Blears, with support from trainee George Jones.
