About Intelligent Partnership

At Intelligent Partnership we’re passionate about small businesses. We know that they are a vital part of the economy: creating jobs, developing new products, opening up new markets and fuelling regional growth.

For these reasons, we want to play our part in promoting the SME sector, and in particular highlighting the investment and support available to small companies. Putting ourselves at the centre of the capital debate, we want to encourage more people to start their own businesses, and we want to encourage more small businesses to secure investment, scale up and become great businesses.

We’re doing this by providing education and insights on this market; by working with trade associations and government to develop better quality market information; by recognising best practice among the investment providers and professionals that service the SME ecosystem; by championing success stories; and by carrying out research to illuminate the sector for potential investors.

This thought leadership activity is supported by the industry’s top investment providers and jointly promoted with over 50 affiliate partners to the UK’s 30,000 professional intermediaries, to the small business community and to the professional service firms that operate in the SME sector.

We want to bring about a future where investments in start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs and social enterprises are as understandable and accessible as mainstream assets – helping investors access new asset classes and supporting a vital part of the UK economy.
